Shiny Lady
First official day of training on the new job. I am excited and I feel again, like a grown lady. (Just like the time I bought my first piece of furniture.) Anyhow, I am lucky to have this opportunity but also eagerly awaiting a vacation to take off to Austin or LA for some change of scenery.I have so much to post but so few mediums to do so..

Soggy Granola
This was once a drawing called "Even Monkeys Break Hearts" but now it is Even-Numbered.

The book has some progress and the new hobby is book- making. I made some instructions; I'll post those.
Other than that, I am extremely inspired by some new music that has entered my life so that means more drawings on my new portable drawing board...

I am starting a book. Here is a sneak peak. Just a few excerpts; not in order and unedited/untouched.

vinca la crudelta che fuor mi serra
del bello ovile ov' io dormi' agnello,
nimino ai lupi che li danno guerra;
con altra voce omai, con altro vello
retonero poeta.
If it comes to pass that this whole wale of a poem
on which heaven and earth have worked so hard
that it's made me skinny over the years
should overcome the cruelty that keeps me
from the pretty sheepfold where I slept like a lamb,
an enemy to the wolves who lay seige to it,
then with a new voice and a new fleece
I'll come back as a poet.
